Founder & Executive Director
A former Pell Grant recipient and U.S. State Department Gilman Scholar, David has experienced firsthand the immense value of educational resources. As Embolden's founder and Executive Director, he looks forward to providing a greater range of high school students with the opportunity to nurture their academic and career interests.
Currently at international consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton, David develops strategy for marketing and corporate growth, now leading the creation of new commercial capabilities for the firm. David was also a member of the Board of Directors for the McLean Citizens Association, where he served as chair of the Education Committee. The youngest-elected board member in the association’s 104-year history, David welcomed the opportunity to expand opportunities for high school youth. During his tenure, he has created the Teen Ambassador Program to provide a platform for students to engage directly with policymakers and awarded the annual Teen Character Award to recognize student civic engagement.
David earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and International Relations from the College of William & Mary and holds a Graduate Certificate in Data Science from Georgetown University.
