Director of Partnerships
Jung grew up attending public schools in Queens, NY, where she witnessed the challenges that many school systems face in serving diverse communities of students. Coupled with her interests in mathematics, her experiences led her to pursue opportunities at the intersection of education, data science, and government in her professional career.
A Lead Data Scientist at international consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton, Jung analyzes national education policies and data for military families and K-12 public schools. She has also served as a Fellow in the New York City Department of Education for Education Pioneers, and recently ran for School Board in Fairfax County. She looks forward to leveraging her range of experience to develop new partnerships between schools, non-profits, and businesses in advancing Embolden’s mission.
Jung attended Carnegie Mellon University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Science with a concentration in Statistics and Operational Research.
